Orlando's interactive, 3D, virtual reality arcade attraction,
Disney Quest, is located in Downtown Disney's West Side.
|
|
Disney quest offers 5 levels and over 100,000 square feet of air
conditioned indoor adventures, games and activities for guests of
all ages. The Disney Quest attraction is divided into the four
zones that are listed below. |
|
The Explore Zone
is located
on the first floor of Disney Quest. These adventures will
take to to mythical and faraway lands, such as the new
Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for
Buccaneer Gold. The entire family can participate in
this adventure as well as The Virtual Jungle Cruise
Expedition. Most of the rides/adventures in this zone are
relatively tame and can be enjoyed by all family members. |
|
|
Most of
The Create
Zone,
which is located on the second floor, will be a favorite of
the younger children. Here you can use your imagination as
well as your creativity as you design your own song at the new
Song Maker, or learn how
to draw Pluto at The Animation Academy. The most
popular attraction on this floor, and possibly for all of
Disney Quest is Cyber Space Mountain. Here, guests are
able to create their very own roller coaster, then experience
their very own inversion-packed ride first-hand. This ride is
not recommended for younger children or anyone that
experiences motion sickness. |
|
|
On Disney
Quest's third, forth and fifth floors, you will find
The Replay Zone. This zone
contains many of your standard arcade games such as Skee Ball,
Air Hockey and Space Invaders, along with some classic games
with a new twist. At Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlaster,
they have taken your typical bumper cars and added cannons
with which you can 'blast' other cars. Here you can also
find the interactive jet skis, motorcycles and cars, with
surprisingly, not too long of a wait. |
|
|
Located on
the the forth and fifth floors,
The
Score Zone, contains futuristic, virtual reality
game playing. Guests can participate in the life sized
Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam, or slay super villains as they
Ride the Comix. My favorite is Invasion! An Extra
TERRORestrial Alien Encounter, where a group of four work
together to rescue stranded colonists on an alien planet. |
|
Hours
DisneyQuest
is typically open from 10:30 a.m. to midnight,
